This water-repellent moisture-proof ceramic foam insulation board absorbs only 0.6% water by volume, because its glazed surface sheds water and its pores are sealed closed cells rather than open channels. That keeps the ceramic foam insulation board dry and its insulation value stable on facades exposed to rain, mist and coastal air.
As well as repelling water, the board is Class A1 non-combustible and dimensionally stable, so it does not swell, warp or support mould as it ages, and its level-5 stain resistance keeps the decorated surface clean. Because the ceramic foam insulation board is inorganic it will not rot or feed fungi, which makes it a healthy, durable choice for exterior walls.
