1. High temperature resistance
Ceramic fiber blankets have excellent high temperature resistance and a wide range of operating temperatures. For example, the operating temperature of the 1260 type blanket can reach 1050℃, while the operating temperature of the high-purity ceramic fiber blanket can even reach 1100℃. This high temperature resistance ensures stable operation in high temperature environments.
2. Thermal insulation effect
The thermal conductivity of ceramic fiber blankets is low, which can effectively prevent the conduction and loss of heat and maintain the stability of the internal temperature. For example, in a high temperature environment of 1000℃, the thermal conductivity of the high-purity ceramic fiber blanket is only 0.22w/mk, showing a good thermal insulation effect, which helps to improve energy utilization efficiency.
3. High tensile strength
The ceramic fiber blanket has a high tensile strength and can withstand large tensile forces without being easily damaged. For example, the tensile strength of standard ceramic fiber blankets is ≥21MPa, and ordinary and high-purity ceramic fiber blankets also have similar tensile strengths.
4. Corrosion resistance. Ceramic fiber blankets are chemically stable and can resist corrosion from acidic and alkaline substances. They are suitable for various acidic and alkaline environments, extending service life and reducing maintenance costs.
5. Sound absorption and sound insulation performance. Ceramic fiber blankets have a uniform fiber structure, which can effectively reduce the propagation of sound, bringing good sound absorption and sound insulation effects, and are suitable for applications that require a quiet environment.
