Underfloor heating panels are thin by design, and a thin board has to do a thick board's job. The FL1200 board answers with 1200 kPa compressive strength at only 30 mm: the highest grade in the range, chosen because the screed, the floor finish and the furniture above it all load the same small thickness. The grooves are cut at the factory to the pipe layout, so the heating pipe sits at a fixed depth and the panel stays flat instead of being notched on site. Grade FL1200
