This excellent thermal insulation non-combustible rock wool insulation board is made from select fine basalt, melted and spun into 4-7 um non-continuous fibers and bonded with a controlled amount of adhesive, dust-laying oil and water repellent. The dense, tangled fiber structure traps air and delivers a low, stable thermal conductivity, so the board keeps heat inside in winter and out in summer while remaining fully non-combustible and safe in fire.

As a Class A non-combustible material it will not burn, will not spread flame and does not release the dense smoke of foam plastics, which makes it the natural choice for exterior walls, metal-clad ductwork, partition walls and HVAC equipment. The board is light yet rigid and dimensionally stable, so it is easy to cut and fix and holds its shape and performance for the life of the building.
