Excellent Thermal Insulation Sound Absorption Rock Wool Insulation Blanket
This excellent thermal insulation sound absorption rock wool insulation blanket is engineered for thermal and acoustic duty in steel structure buildings, factory roofs and interior partition walls. The flexible blanket is made from inorganic basalt rock wool, so it delivers excellent thermal insulation and strong sound absorption while being non-combustible and free of the smoke and flame spread associated with foam plastics.
The blanket is supplied in rolls for fast coverage of large areas, and it is fixed with galvanised or stainless steel wire where it is used on piping or equipment. It is water-repellent and dimensionally stable, and it can be supplied with aluminium foil or wire-mesh facings. Light, flexible and easy to cut, it is a practical insulation for roofs, walls and acoustic partitions.

Supply and Service
Myreal rock wool products are supplied in polyethylene packages (or cartons for pipe) to make handling, transportation, storage and identification easy, and they should be stored indoors or under a waterproof covering. Special sizes, thicknesses and facings can be produced to order. Aluminium foil facings and other waterproof facings are available for the board, pipe and blanket ranges. Every batch is checked for density, thermal conductivity and dimensional accuracy before dispatch. Rock wool is also a sustainable, recyclable insulation: it is made largely from abundant volcanic rock, contains no asbestos and no ozone-depleting blowing agents, and it can help projects earn green-building credits. It is chemically stable, non-corrosive to steel and aluminium in normal use, and it will not support mould growth. If you would like the full technical data sheet, a free sample, the applicable test report or a project specific quotation, our engineering team will gladly help you choose the right model, thickness and facing for your building or industrial project. Tell us your application, working temperature and target performance and we will recommend the most cost-effective MYREAL rock wool solution.
