Product Description

In short: Lightweight glazed ceramic insulation panel, 35 mm, about 8.8 kg/m², replaces a 30 mm marble slab at one tenth of the weight, Class A1.

A 30 mm marble slab puts 80 kg on every square metre before the subframe, which drives anchor count, keel steel and crane time. This lightweight ceramic marble cladding panel delivers the same visual language at about 8.8 kg/m², so a facade that was designed around stone can be re-engineered around a panel that two installers can carry.

The 35 mm sintered body has a closed cell structure, 0.6% water absorption and a Class A1 rating, and it is cut with standard stone tooling. For retrofit work the existing slab can be removed and the new panel fixed to the same structural line without upgrading the primary steel.

Core Advantages
  • Class A1 Fire Performance: This lightweight glazed ceramic insulation panel 35 mm 8.8 kg/m² slab replacement is non-combustible from surface to core to GB 8624, with no dripping, no heavy smoke and no toxic gas release, which suits facade replacement of 30 mm marble slabs on new and existing buildings.
  • Fired-in Marble Pattern: The light marble vein is generated in the body at 1200 °C, so it does not peel, chalk or fade like a printed or coated surface.
  • Low Dead Load: About 8.8 kg/m² at 35 mm, roughly one quarter of a 30 mm marble slab, which keeps anchors, keel steel and crane time down.
  • Stable Colour Lot to Lot: A fixed pigment recipe and firing curve hold the light marble vein inside the approved tolerance on repeat orders.
  • Weather and Pollution Resistance: Closed cells and a sintered skin resist water penetration, 25 freeze-thaw cycles and urban staining; cleaning needs water, not chemical stone restorers.
  • One Tenth of the Dead Load: At about 8.8 kg/m² the panel removes roughly 70 kg/m² from the facade, cutting anchors, keel sections and lifting plant.

Installation & Fixing

Use a ventilated dry-hanging system with vertical aluminium rails and stainless back-groove anchors, or an adhesive plus anchor method on flat low-rise substrates where wind load has been verified.

Packing

The lightweight glazed ceramic insulation panel 35 mm 8.8 kg/m² slab replacement is supplied on plywood pallets with PE film, corner protection and edge guards, about 1.2 tons per pallet, loaded into 20 ft or 40 ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face. Special sizes, corner pieces and window returns can be produced to drawing.

FAQ
Q: Can it replace existing 30 mm marble directly?

A: In most cases yes. We review the existing subframe and wind load, then supply a panel thickness and anchor layout that matches the original sight lines.

Q: Will the colour match our existing marble?

A: Send a sample or high resolution photo; we produce a colour matched sample board before the bulk order.

Q: How is it cut on site?

A: Standard stone saws and core drills work; dust extraction is recommended and edges can be sealed with a penetrating sealer.

Share your project area, storey height and target marble reference with our technical team, and we will send a panel schedule, fixing proposal and quotation for the lightweight glazed ceramic insulation panel 35 mm 8.8 kg/m² slab replacement within two working days.
