Salt Fog Resistant Glazed Ceramic Insulation Panel 30mm Coastal Facade
In short: Salt fog resistant glazed ceramic insulation panel, 30 mm, Class A1, for coastal resort facades and pool deck walls exposed to salt spray.
Within a few kilometres of the coast, salt spray attacks fixings, sealants and any metallic coating on a facade. This salt fog resistant marble pattern ceramic panel is a sintered inorganic body with 0.6% absorption, supplied with 316 stainless fixings, and tested for salt spray exposure without colour change or surface breakdown.
The fired-in marble vein is unaffected by UV and salt, and the closed cell body does not hold chloride at the surface the way a porous stone does. For pool decks and beachfront facades that means the finish can be cleaned with fresh water rather than replaced.
Core Advantages
- Class A1 Fire Performance: This salt fog resistant glazed ceramic insulation panel 30mm coastal facade is non-combustible from surface to core to GB 8624, with no dripping, no heavy smoke and no toxic gas release, which suits coastal facades and pool deck walls exposed to salt spray.
- Fired-in Marble Pattern: The coastal marble vein is generated in the body at 1200C, so it does not peel, chalk or fade like a printed or coated surface.
- Low Dead Load: About 7.5 kg/m2 at 30 mm, roughly one quarter of a 30 mm marble slab, which keeps anchors, keel steel and crane time down.
- Stable Colour Lot to Lot: A fixed pigment recipe and firing curve hold the coastal marble vein inside the approved tolerance on repeat orders.
- Weather and Pollution Resistance: Closed cells and a sintered skin resist water penetration, 25 freeze-thaw cycles and urban staining; cleaning needs water, not chemical stone restorers.
- 316 Stainless Fixing Package: All anchors and clips are 316 stainless, matched to the salt spray exposure class of the project location.

Application
- Beachfront hotel and resort facades
- Pool deck and bar wall cladding
- Marina and waterfront building walls
- Coastal villa exterior and terrace walls
- Salt water aquarium and spa interiors
Installation & Fixing
Use 316 stainless anchors and a drained cavity, with a neutral cure silicone at joints and a fresh water wash down every six months. Avoid carbon steel components anywhere in the build-up.
Packing
The salt fog resistant glazed ceramic insulation panel 30mm coastal facade is supplied on plywood pallets with PE film, corner protection and edge guards, about 1.2 tons per pallet, loaded into 20ft or 40ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face. Special sizes, corner pieces and window returns can be produced to drawing.
FAQ
Q: How long will it last near the sea?
A: The ceramic body is inert in salt spray; with 316 fixings and a six monthly wash down the system is specified for a 25 year facade life.
Q: Does the colour change in salt air?
A: No. The pigment is fired into the body, and salt spray testing shows no colour change or chalking.
Q: What fixings do you supply?
A: 316 stainless back-groove anchors, clips and rails as a matched package, with the exposure class stated on the packing list.
Share your project area, storey height and target marble reference with our technical team, and we will send a panel schedule, fixing proposal and quotation for the salt fog resistant glazed ceramic insulation panel 30mm coastal facade within two working days.
