In short: Thermal insulating glazed ceramic insulation panel, 40 mm, 0.064 W/mK at 100 °C, Class A1, combining facade finish and insulation in one panel.
On a solid wall, insulation and finish are usually two trades and two programmes. This thermal insulating marble-look ceramic wall panel combines both: a 40 mm foamed ceramic body with 0.064 W/(m·K) conductivity and a fired-in marble surface, fixed as a single dry-hung layer.
The closed-cell ceramic body does not absorb water, so the declared conductivity holds in service rather than drifting upward as mineral wool does when it gets damp. Class A1 non-combustibility means the insulation layer does not need a separate fire barrier at the facade line.
- Class A1 Fire Performance: This thermal insulating glazed ceramic insulation panel 40 mm low conductivity is non-combustible from surface to core to GB 8624, with no dripping, no heavy smoke and no toxic gas release, which suits exterior building envelopes needing finish and insulation in one layer.
- Fired-in Marble Pattern: The warm marble vein is generated in the body at 1200 °C, so it does not peel, chalk or fade like a printed or coated surface.
- Low Dead Load: About 10 kg/m² at 40 mm, roughly one quarter of a 30 mm marble slab, which keeps anchors, keel steel and crane time down.
- Stable Colour Lot to Lot: A fixed pigment recipe and firing curve hold the warm marble vein inside the approved tolerance on repeat orders.
- Weather and Pollution Resistance: Closed cells and a sintered skin resist water penetration, 25 freeze-thaw cycles and urban staining; cleaning needs water, not chemical stone restorers.
- Conductivity That Holds in Service: Closed cells keep water absorption at 3% or less, so the declared 0.064 W/(m·K) is not degraded by site moisture.

Install as a ventilated rainscreen on vertical rails, with a continuous air cavity and fire stops at compartment lines. We provide U-value calculations for your wall build-up on request.
The thermal insulating glazed ceramic insulation panel 40 mm low conductivity is supplied on plywood pallets with PE film, corner protection and edge guards, about 1.2 tons per pallet, loaded into 20 ft or 40 ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face. Special sizes, corner pieces and window returns can be produced to drawing.
Q: What U-value can we reach?
A: With a 40 mm panel alone the contribution is modest; combining it with the existing wall build-up typically reaches 0.4–0.6 W/m²K depending on substrate.
Q: Is a vapour barrier needed?
A: The closed-cell body is vapour tight enough that the detail depends on the wall build-up; send your section and we will advise.
Q: Can it be used on timber frame?
A: Yes, with a drained and ventilated cavity and stainless fixings rated for the timber substrate.
