Product Description
Product Overview

In short: grade glazed ceramic panel, 45 mm, for ventilated cavity cladding, Class A1, 0.064 W/mK, with concealed fixings.

A ventilated cavity solves two problems at once: it drains any water that passes the outer skin and it lets the panel dry from behind. This 45 mm sintered marble pattern exterior panel is designed for that build-up, with a square edge that forms a consistent 12 mm open joint and concealed anchors.

At 45 mm the panel contributes both a Class A1 outer layer and a measurable thermal resistance, so on many buildings the cavity insulation thickness can be reduced. The fired-in marble pattern is stable across batches, which matters when a facade is built over several phases.

Core Advantages
  • Class A1 Fire Performance: This insulation grade glazed ceramic insulation panel 45 mm ventilated cavity is non-combustible from surface to core to GB 8624, with no dripping, no heavy smoke and no toxic gas release, which suits ventilated cavity cladding on high-rise and public buildings.
  • Fired-in Marble Pattern: The sintered marble pattern is generated in the body at 1200 °C, so it does not peel, chalk or fade like a printed or coated surface.
  • Low Dead Load: About 11 kg/m² at 45 mm, roughly one quarter of a 30 mm marble slab, which keeps anchors, keel steel and crane time down.
  • Stable Colour Lot to Lot: A fixed pigment recipe and firing curve hold the sintered marble pattern inside the approved tolerance on repeat orders.
  • Weather and Pollution Resistance: Closed cells and a sintered skin resist water penetration, 25 freeze-thaw cycles and urban staining; cleaning needs water, not chemical stone restorers.
  • Pressure Equalised Cavity Detail: The panel and joint geometry are set out for a drained, pressure equalised cavity, reducing wind-driven rain penetration at the outer skin.

Applications
  • High-rise office and residential facades
  • Public buildings with a drained cavity requirement
  • Coastal facades needing a pressure equalised cavity
  • Overcladding of failing render and tiling
  • Industrial facades with high wind load
Installation & Fixing

Vertical rails at 600 mm centres, stainless back-groove anchors at four points per panel, 12 mm open joints with a ventilated baffle, and continuous fire stops at each floor slab.

Packing & Storage

The insulation grade glazed ceramic insulation panel 45 mm ventilated cavity is supplied on plywood pallets with PE film, corner protection and edge guards, about 1.2 tons per pallet, loaded into 20 ft or 40 ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face. Special sizes, corner pieces and window returns can be produced to drawing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What joint width do you recommend?

A: 12 mm open joints give enough ventilation and movement tolerance for a 1200×600 mm panel on a standard aluminium rail system.

Q: Are concealed fixings available?

A: Yes. Back-groove anchors leave no visible fixing on the face, which is the usual choice for high-rise work.

Q: Can the cavity take mineral wool?

A: Yes. The panel is compatible with mineral wool or PIR in the cavity, provided the fire stop detail at slab level is maintained.
