In a cold climate, the failure mode is water freezing inside the panel, expanding and spalling the decorated face. This frost resistant glazed ceramic insulation panel is sintered to a 0.6 percent water absorption and tested through 25 freeze–thaw cycles with no cracking or flaking, so the marble face stays intact through winter after winter.
The glazed surface is fired onto the ceramic body, not applied as a coating, so de-icing salt and freeze–thaw movement do not peel it away. At 30 mm and approximately 7.5 kg/m², the panel also adds an insulation layer, which reduces thermal shock at the wall line in heated buildings.
- Class A1 Fire Performance: Non-combustible from surface to core to GB 8624, with no dripping, no heavy smoke and no toxic gas release — suitable for cold climate facades and buildings exposed to repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
- Fired-in Marble Pattern: The marble grain facade cladding is generated in the body at 1200 °C, so it does not peel, chalk or fade like a printed or coated surface.
- Low Dead Load: About 45 kg/m² at 30 mm — roughly one quarter of a 30 mm marble slab — which keeps anchors, keel steel and crane time down.
- Stable Colour Lot to Lot: A fixed pigment recipe and firing curve hold the marble grain facade cladding inside the approved tolerance on repeat orders.
- Weather and Pollution Resistance: Closed cells and a sintered skin resist water penetration, 25 freeze–thaw cycles and urban staining; cleaning needs water, not chemical stone restorers.
- 25 Freeze–Thaw Cycles Without Damage: Tested to GB/T 5486 through 25 cycles with no cracking, flaking or strength loss — suitable for cold climate facades.

- Cold climate office and residential facades
- Municipal buildings in northern and alpine regions
- Cold store and freezer building exteriors
- Transport hubs with freeze–thaw exposure
- Industrial buildings in high altitude sites
Lay on a compacted sand and gravel bed for pedestrian areas, or on adjustable pedestals for roof terraces. Keep a 3–5 mm joint and use a polymeric jointing sand for exterior exposure.
The frost resistant glazed ceramic insulation panel 30 mm cold climate facade is supplied on plywood pallets with PE film, corner protection and edge guards — about 1.2 tons per pallet — loaded into 20 ft or 40 ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face. Special sizes, corner pieces and window returns can be produced to drawing.
A: 25 freeze–thaw cycles to GB/T 5486 with no cracking, flaking or loss of flexural strength on the finished panel.
A: The fired glaze resists de-icing salt; we recommend fresh water washing at the end of each winter season to remove salt residue.
A: Yes, with a drained cavity and stainless fixings; the panel is Class A1 and does not absorb water into the body.
