Product Description

In short: Prefabricated glazed ceramic insulation wall module — a 50 mm panel with built-in insulation, Class A1 fire performance, engineered for modular and fast-track building envelopes.

On a modular project, the envelope is a factory task, not a site task. This prefabricated marble-look ceramic wall unit arrives as a 50 mm insulated cassette with the ceramic face, insulation, frame and lifting points already assembled — so the module is weathertight the day it is craned into place.

The cassette is built around a galvanised steel frame with a Class A1 ceramic face and closed-cell insulation, and each unit is tested for dimensional square before dispatch. Service penetrations and window openings are formed in the factory to the module drawing.

Core Advantages
  • Class A1 Fire Performance: Non-combustible from surface to core to GB 8624, with no dripping, no heavy smoke and no toxic gas release — ideal for prefabricated and modular building envelopes.
  • Fired-in Marble Pattern: The prefab marble face is generated in the body at 1200°C, so it does not peel, chalk or fade like a printed or coated surface.
  • Low Dead Load: About 13 kg/m² at 50 mm — roughly one quarter of a 30 mm marble slab — which keeps anchors, keel steel and crane time down.
  • Stable Colour Lot to Lot: A fixed pigment recipe and firing curve hold the prefab marble face inside the approved tolerance on repeat orders.
  • Weather and Pollution Resistance: Closed cells and a sintered skin resist water penetration, 25 freeze-thaw cycles and urban staining; cleaning needs water, not chemical stone restorers.
  • Weathertight on the Day of Lift: The insulated cassette arrives complete with frame, face and lifting points, so the module envelope closes as soon as it is set.

Installation & Fixing

Cassettes are craned and fixed to the module frame with proprietary brackets. The inter-module joint is then sealed with a compression gasket and a rainscreen cover strip.

Packing

The prefabricated glazed ceramic insulation panel 50 mm insulated wall module is supplied on plywood pallets with PE film, corner protection and edge guards — approximately 1.2 tons per pallet — loaded into 20 ft or 40 ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face. Special sizes, corner pieces and window returns can be produced to drawing.

FAQ
Q: Can you form window and door openings?

A: Yes. Openings, service penetrations and reveals are formed in the factory to the module drawing and checked before dispatch.

Q: What insulation is used?

A: Closed-cell ceramic or mineral core depending on the U-value target; both are Class A1 and supplied with a condensation risk check.

Q: How are units lifted?

A: Each cassette has certified lifting points and a marked centre of gravity, with a lifting plan issued per module type.
