Honed Granite Look Sintered Ceramic Cladding Panel with Natural Stone Vein Surface
In short: The FJ-1004H is a 40 mm honed granite look sintered ceramic cladding panel with a natural stone vein surface, about 10 kg/m2, Class A1 non-combustible to GB 8624 and 0.6% water absorption, for curtain wall infill and spandrel cladding.
A honed granite facade is normally a 30 mm slab at 70–80 kg/m², and every panel has to be matched against the next one on site. This 40 mm honed granite look sintered ceramic cladding panel delivers the same matte stone hand from a vein pattern fired into the body, at about 10 kg/m² — roughly one eighth of the dead load.
The honed face is produced by grinding the sintered skin, so the surface is flat and non-reflective, which is what architects want on a large elevation: no glare, no mirror effect, and joints that disappear at a distance. Vein density and direction are controlled per panel so a full elevation reads as one quarry run.
Core Advantages
- Matte Honed Stone Hand: the sintered skin is ground flat after firing, giving a low-sheen non-reflective face that matches honed granite under daylight
- Controlled Vein Run: vein direction and density are set per panel, so book-matched and continuous-run elevations can be planned from a single sample
- About 10 kg/m² at 40 mm: against 70–80 kg/m² for a 30 mm granite slab, cutting keel steel, anchors and crane time
- Class A1 Non-Combustible: the whole section is inorganic and rated Class A1 to GB 8624, which satisfies curtain wall and spandrel fire requirements
- 0.6% Water Absorption: the closed body resists rain penetration and urban staining, so the honed face keeps its tone without stone restorers
- Stable Lot to Lot: one pigment recipe and firing curve across the project means later phases and replacements match the approved sample

Application
- Unitised and semi-unitised curtain wall infill panels where dead load is capped
- Spandrel and column cladding behind glass, where a matte stone hand avoids reflection
- Office and hotel elevations that specify honed granite but cannot carry stone weight
- Podium and entrance canopies with a stone soffit finish
- Mixed-use towers where the same vein run must continue over several floors
- Interior lobby columns that need to match the external elevation exactly
Installation & Fixing
For curtain wall work the panel is glazed into the frame with structural silicone or retained by aluminium pressure plates, with a drained and ventilated cavity behind. On solid substrates use a ventilated dry-hanging system: keel anchored to structure, stainless back-groove anchors, 15–20 mm open joint with PE backer rod and silicone sealant. Because the vein is fired in, panels can be rotated at shop drawing stage to balance the pattern; send your elevation and we will return a panel-by-panel layout.
Packing
Supplied on pallets, export packing about 621 kg gross per crate at 110 × 92 × 200 cm, loaded into 20ft or 40ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face.
FAQ
A: The sintered skin is closed and sealed, so airborne dirt sits on the surface and washes off with water; no acidic stone restorer is needed and the honed hand is not affected by cleaning.
A: Yes. Send a stone off-cut or a high-resolution photo with the required size, and we will produce a honed colour-matched sample board for approval before production.
A: MOQ is 2000 m² per order and lead time is 2–3 weeks after deposit and sample approval; phased sites can be shipped in partial lots.
A: Each batch is tested to GB/T 5486, GB 8624 and GB/T 10295, compared with the approved colour sample under daylight, and photographed pallet by pallet before loading.
Share your elevation drawings, panel module and granite reference, and we will return a colour-matched honed sample board, panel layout and quotation within two working days.
