Thermal Insulating Granite Look Ceramic Wall Panel for Exterior Envelopes
In short: The FJ-1004P is a 40 mm thermal insulating granite look ceramic wall panel at about 10 kg/m2, with 0.064 W/(m.K) at 100C and a heat storage coefficient of 1.5 W/(m2.K) to JG/T 511, Class A1 non-combustible to GB 8624.
Most facade build-ups separate decoration from insulation, which means two trades and two inspection stages. This thermal insulating granite look ceramic wall panel collapses that into one layer, because the sintered ceramic body itself holds 0.064 W/(m·K) at 100°C and a heat storage coefficient of 1.5 W/(m²·K) to JG/T 511.
That combination is what a masonry-like facade needs: low conductivity to hold heat back, and enough thermal mass to flatten the daily swing so the wall does not cycle with every passing cloud. It is also Class A1 non-combustible, so the insulation layer adds nothing combustible to the elevation.
Core Advantages
- 0.064 W/(m·K) at 100°C: the ceramic body insulates as well as it decorates, tested to GB/T 10295
- Heat Storage Coefficient 1.5: thermal mass to JG/T 511 flattens the daily temperature swing and stabilises the interior
- One Layer, One Trade: decoration, weather screen and insulation in a single panel, removing a separate insulation stage
- Class A1 Non-Combustible: no foam core and no combustible insulation in the cavity, so the elevation stays inert to GB 8624
- Handles Thermal Bridges: the same panel wraps columns, slab edges and balcony fascias where blanket insulation cannot be fitted
- 0.6% Water Absorption: the closed body keeps rain out of the envelope and holds its thermal value when wet

Application
- Exterior walls where a single decorative and insulating layer is preferred
- Slab edges, column faces and balcony fascias that create thermal bridges
- Energy retrofit envelopes where internal insulation would lose floor area
- Cool-roof parapets and roof upstands that need an insulating stone finish
- Cold-store and plant-room exteriors with a condensation risk
- Schools and hospitals where non-combustible build-ups are mandatory
Installation & Fixing
Use a ventilated dry-hanging system for walls above 10 m: keel to structure, stainless back-groove anchors, 15–20 mm open joint, fire-stop collars and mineral wool packing where the cavity crosses a compartment line. Where the panel wraps a thermal bridge, butt joints to the adjacent insulation and tape the cavity side to keep the layer continuous. Send U-value targets and the wall build-up and we will return a layer calculation with panel thickness options.
Packing
Supplied on pallets, export packing about 621 kg gross per crate at 110 × 92 × 200 cm, loaded into 20ft or 40ft containers with fumigation-free packing. Store under cover, keep pallets level and avoid point loads on the decorated face.
FAQ
A: It replaces the outer insulation layer on many walls, but the U-value target decides the total thickness; we calculate the contribution of the panel and advise what, if anything, is still needed behind it.
A: Water absorption is 0.6%, and the closed sintered body releases surface water quickly, so conductivity stays close to the dry value compared with open-cell insulation.
A: MOQ is 2000 m² per order and lead time is 2–3 weeks after deposit and sample approval; phased sites can be shipped in partial lots.
A: Each batch is tested to GB/T 5486, GB 8624 and GB/T 10295, compared with the approved colour sample under daylight, and photographed pallet by pallet before loading.
Send your wall build-up, target U-value and climate zone, and we will return a layer calculation, panel thickness proposal and quotation within two working days.

Quick Answers
A: Yes. The ceramic body itself gives 0.064 W/(m.K) at 100C, so decoration, weather screen and insulation sit in one layer.
A: At 1.5 W/(m2.K) to JG/T 511 the panel behaves like masonry and flattens the daily temperature swing.
A: Exterior envelopes and thermal bridges such as slab edges, column faces and balcony fascias where blanket insulation is hard to fit.
A: No, the body is Class A1 non-combustible to GB 8624, so the insulation layer adds no fuel to the facade.
A: MOQ 2000 m2, USD 35-40 per m2, 2-3 weeks after deposit and sample approval.
